J&Z Professional Services sponsors the Kutztown Silverbacks, a local youth rugby team, competing in a 7 on 7 tournament in East Stroudsburg, PA……………

Sponsorship pledges & strategic advertising are two key components of any successful business in today’s economy.  Now more than ever, service companies like J&Z Professional Services rely heavily on word of mouth referrals, sponsorship pledges & strategic advertising opportunities to drive annual revenue.  Why you ask? Because today’s consumer is much more savvy when it comes to budgeting for outside services, especially those services that business professionals feel at times can be done “in house”.

Targeting an audience of young consumers that will translate into future revenue for your business is always a tricky component in any industry. This is why you need to develop a strategy that fits your budget and begin to market to the 17-25 year old audience. They represent our society’s future entrepreneurs, property managers, real estate investors & daily consumers.

One way to accomplish this feat is through effective sponsorship pledges such as the pledge J&Z Professional Services made to the Kutztown Silverbacks at their recent Youth Rugby Tournament held in East Stroudsburg, PA, where many of our existing clients call home.  The rugby team, comprised of high school juniors & seniors, was in need of additional funds to purchase equipment, uniforms and to cover their summer travel expenses. Joseph Seibert & Zakiya Smalls stepped up to the plate and rendered a donation to cover the team’s needs for their upcoming season.

Not only was the team grateful, they were elated to have support from a company that will continue to support them for years to come. Rugby, much like modern technology, is growing rapidly & gaining momentum as a new sport for kids to play in high school & college.

How does this benefit our commercial cleaning company? Sure having our logo prominently displayed on the team’s sideline banner, uniform backs & t-shirt sleeves was great, however the long term benefit was displayed on the faces of the high school kids when they had the chance to meet the business owners who supported their efforts. Tapping into a modern audience playing a modern sport which is growing traction represents what I call “Ahead of the curve advertising”. Shaking the hands of every team member was not only fulfilling for me, it made me realize a personal connection was born at that moment – a personal connection more powerful than any logo on display.

The team was very excited about meeting the community business owners who supported them. This small feat will translate into future revenue …how you ask? Because there will come a day when these teenage wonders have their own businesses and/or professions in need of the services…..who will they think of? Those folks who supported their high school dream……………..those folks at J&Z Professional Services!
